Building on the Fundamentals of Robotics curriculum, the Advanced Robotics course explores advanced robotic programming.
In Advanced Robotics Programming, students will use RoboCell to teach positions, write programs, debug robotic applications, and test their execution offline using a virtual robot.

Robotics Certification
Intelitek has partnered with Yaskawa MotoMan Robotics, a world leader in industrial robotics to offer a Robotics Certification Program for education. The Intelitek Certified Robotics programs provide robotic learning to CTE (career technical education) and industrial training programs, offering curriculum and project-based activities to prepare students by working with real world industrial robots. Students who complete the training with the Yaskawa Motoman robots can take a certification test and become Operator or Programmer Certified.
This Yaskawa endorsed certification is highly revered in industry and can give a candidate a leg up when searching in the job market.
Yaskawa Robot Operator Certification
Courseware: Student must complete the Fundamentals of Robotics curriculum (16 Hours) to prepare for this exam
Practical: Student must complete required training lab activities and submit teacher signed affidavit before they can take the exam
Who can get certified: Any student with appropriate knowledge and practical experience is eligible to take the certification exam. The program is designed for high school, community college or degree level students interested in careers in manufacturing and industry where industrial robots are used.
Duration: Student should complete the training, the practical and the exam within a 12 month calendar period.
Yaskawa Robot Programmer Certification
Pre-requisite: Candidates must complete the Yaskawa Certified Operator training and certification before taking the Yaskawa Certified Programmer certification.
Courseware: Student must complete the Advanced Robotics curriculum (16 Hours) to prepare for this exam
Practical: Student must complete required training lab activities and submit teacher signed affidavit before they can take the exam
Who can get certified: Any student who has completed the pre-requisite program and with appropriate knowledge and practical experience is eligible to take the certification exam. The program is designed for high school, community college or degree level students interested in careers in manufacturing and industry where industrial robots are used.
