Course Overview
After covering the fundamentals of organic chemistry in the first unit, we now concentrate on carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. We begin with a lesson on the six main elements which make up these molecules, and learn about the structures of each compound, including both the individual monomers as well as the complex macromolecules.
