Reports to Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Purchasing for manufacturing, facilities and office
- Maintaining and developing vendor relations
- Sourcing/qualifying new vendors
- Contract manufacturers
- Processing rejected items
- Blanket order negotiation
- Inventory at vendor warehouse
- ERP purchasing related documents
- Purchase requisitions
- Purchase orders
- Shortage reports
- Part rejection
- Purchase parameters for parts
- Shortages management

Education
Associate Degree at related field or above
Experience
- Manufacturing purchasing/procurement (3 years minimum)
- Working in a global company with HQ abroad.
Required Skills
- Ability to work with vendors to secure lowest cost/shortest lead time
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing parts/products
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Able to work with other cultures to solve common problems
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate within all areas of the company and act as a team player.
- Ability to recognize ways to improve processes
