Course Overview
Our course in Thermochemistry covers the energy taken in or given off by chemical reactions. We begin with a discussion of potential and
kinetic energy, and proceed to calorimetry and specific heat capacity. Hess’ Law is a logical next stop, along with standard enthalpy of formation and standard state.
