On March 19, 2010, Intelitek sponsored the New Hampshire State SkillsUSA Automated Manufacturing Technology and Robotics and Automation competitions at its Manchester, NH facility.
For more than 14 years, intelitek has been the key sponsor of the Automated Manufacturing Technology and Robotics and Automation contests, both at the state and national levels. In addition to the equipment students use to compete, Intelitek provides our staff of industry experts to develop the competition and serve as judges.
This year, thirteen students on five teams from five schools across New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Across the entire state on the 23rd and 24th of March there will be an additional 33 other competitions such as Automotive, Cosmetology, and Leadership events. The winner of the state competition will have a chance to compete against the top students from across the nation at the National Competition to be held June 20-25 in Kansas City, MO.
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. SkillsUSA programs include local, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational and leadership skills. At the annual national-level SkillsUSA Championships, more than 5,400 students compete in 91 occupational and leadership skill areas. SKILLsUSA is the largest student Career and Technical Organization, (CTO) in the state of New Hampshire.
